 @6e9427cf I was watching a WorldCon panel discussion online last year, and on the topic of prologues, one panelist said that someone did a survey and it turns out that most readers skip prologues altogether 😱

When I expressed my shock to my husband, he said that he skips prologues too 😱😱😱

Then I'll just have to make it clear in the 1st paragraph of chapter 1 that something serious happened in the prologue.  😇​
