I've been looking for good coconut water since I've been back from Costa Rica. So far, the brands I've tried have sucked! They tasted like coconut. They did not taste like the delicious water directly from fresh Costa Rican coconuts. I needed my pipa fria!
I can now report that this Trader Joe's brand tastes and smells exactly like the pipa fria from Playa Hermosa in Uvita. It's amazing. Costs are roughly the same. In Costa Rica, one coconut at the beach would be 1000 colones. Here, this is $1.69. This has more liquid though. That's a good deal. π€π»

Youβre a diva π
Perhaps. I don't like coconut flavor overly that much.
Thanks for the intel, Fren!ππ»ππππ«πππ―
Have you tried the harmless harvest brand? Pretty good!
I haven't. I've only tried a few from my local grocery stores.
taste is great. the problem is lots of plastic bottles to deal with.
Yeah for sure. Been really trying to cut down on plastics since I had a kid
We going to Trader Joe's today babayyy π π₯₯
Good tip!
My kids said it tastes like the real thing too. They love it. Now I just need a reusable coconut shell to give them the same experience again π
REAL TALK: I hated it β¦ but I have a doll one βοΈ π€£
Big fan of the Kirkland Signature organic coconut water at Costco, itβs pink and needs to be refrigerated. Tastes just like Harmless Harvest, but cheaper.
