Gm nostriches, quick thought, what is a democracy? when the people YOU voted for can’t vote in line with their morals, and the best interests of their voters without fear of losing their seat and being expelled from “the party”, Is it really a “democracy”, when those at the top of the party make their choices and push through the laws?

Maybe, just maybe, if laws only got passed because they had bi partisan support, a lot fewer laws would be passed, the laws would better/less extreme and there wouldn’t be lurching from one ideology to another between parliaments. And who knows, there would be less emergencies, and fingers crossed, less national debt….

What have labour done so far:
1. Locked up people who post on X
2. Given a massive pay rise to Their Union supporters
3. Release shit loads of criminals, to make space for no.1
4. Taken away your Grandma’s extra support for her heating this winter.

If there was no “party whip”, would this dramatic, Hollywood style of politics in the first few weeks on office be able to happen?
