If by staged you mean faked, no.

Staged in the sense that there is absolutely no need to send 10 cops in full riot gear with a battering ram to arrest a teenager in his home for the crimes they’re alleging him of, have 3 cops stand over him and wave a finger in his face when stating the reasons for arrest, cuff him, shout at him to walk with his head down to the paddywagon, and have it all caught on camera for public consumption like this.

This is their attempt to “reassure” the public, to show strength, when in reality they just look clownish and they don’t understand that no-one who sees this is going to feel “reassured” - they’re just going to hate NSW Police more than they already do. 

 Looks like when they will be on their way to check the liquid level in the coffee cup of someone not wearing a mask right after this.
