I've been using VPNs nearly two decades. I won't stop using them. Anyone that tells me to not use one I'll tell them that they can go fuck themselves.
Best VPNs?
I've used so many over the years... Mullvad and Proton seem to be the best.
Thanks- I use Protonmail, so I'll check out their VPN 🤙
Mullvad
+1 for proton
I use protonmail, so I'll def check this out 🤙
So do you have open-source vpn recommendations? Currently using calyx
Don’t use vpn’s
GFY
I use tailscale with a vps as my VPN
internet without VPN is like sex with a prostitute without a condom. Some people like to live on the edge 🤷♂️
Accurate.
💯
What do people have against VPNs?
This is a comment related to where going on in Brazil.
Do you just leave it running all the time?
No. It depends on what I'm doing. Some things use a VPN 24/7. Some do not. I'm playing Overwatch at the moment and not using a VPN. I 100% always use a VPN on public WiFi.
🤝
I have to use them for work. I have to figure out the best to use and how for everything else...basically.
Lt. Col. Michael Aquino was in charge of the US Army’s psyop division, the Phoenix Program, and was implicated in multiple child molestation cases throughout the country. It is estimated that Aquino allegedly was involved in the sexual abuse of over 200 children. Aquino also spent most of his adult life forming a Satanist church called the “Temple of Set”, a version of Satanism that broke away from Anton LaVey’s Church of Satan. https://image.nostr.build/d5d9e8b4ca460ae30feec1a398042d48e34ba96977e4191c5c855ec33d7e0e95.png
Good luck trying to block over 65K ports. Unless they create the great wall of Brazil and have internal firewalls, just consider any kind of news like that to be from politicians who doesn't understand technology. Just like trying to ban private wallets in the UK.
But how will your ISP facilitate advertising to your preferences? How will you ever find out how much you need various products and services you don't already know you need?
I'll try to cope with these great losses as best that I can.
I feel the same way. I’m about to leave my job, but when you spend 6 months or more each year staying in hotels, you learn that hotels and their service companies are as malicious as any “hacker”. Never ever use the Internet unprotected at a hotel.
