 Glad you made it over here. Note has a small learning curve and longer setup than other options, but it’s really awesome once you are in. 

 Ah pleasure. Hard to get to grip with but worth the time. I think anyway. 

 Now that I’m comfortable with it, I enjoy it so much more than twitter.

You will to, just get your zaps setup and get your follow list really good. Try a few different clients like Damus, Primal, plebstr, snort.social & iris.to. 

If you need help, just ask cause a lot of folks in the community are very eager to help.

 I joined before #MarchOffTwitter last year and spent March focused mostly on Nostr but still occassionally checking Twitter. A few months later my Twitter account was suspended making it easier than ever to stay away from there. As a programmer I find nostr attractive to build with because i dont need permission or need to get issued an API key. Ive made some bots and my primary development now is on cornychat.com, a nostr enabled audio space supporting logins, zaps, and customizations. 

 They threatened you with a good time.

 Banned and/or silenced over and over again on the usual shite , just as I was getting sick of it #nostr emerged, been #nostr only since then , slightly lonely but I’m all in 

 Glad you are here! There are great ways to find your way into a great feed. Keep commenting and zapping to get noticed. More content on #nostr only makes it stronger and you will make friends.

 You realize nothing really matters besides what you are actully experiencing, rather than being concerned by what the machine is pushing.  

 What I was experiencing in traditional social media was horrible. Much better here. 

 Seeing someone take a picture with controlled opposition. Had to come here to detox.
