@3e3ce96c Being in an elderly care situation, we’ve done our best to avoid scenarios mentioned in the article, but one thing it does not address is the harm caused by app stores, making it extremely easy for elderly users to fill their phones with adware, spyware, malware, and other sorts of crapware that not only ruin their day, but also steal their data, and make them less secure.

It’s been an uphill battle, and aside from enabling parental controls, a solution eludes us. 

 @4b5f5f4c Luckily my dad doesn't engage with the app store much at all, but yeah I can 100% see that being a larger problem that needs addressing.
