What exactly goes on around here. I've heard of high data usage and battery consumption.  

 Depends on your relay setup. If you are using a lot of relays your client will probably send and receive a lot of data back and forth.  

 I think the data issue is unresolved 🤔 

 It depends on the client, if you use something like Primal, you should be good

 Amethyst has settings to not download certain things on mobile or metered wifi.  

 My Amethyst sucks mobile data like crazy
