I'm gonna install Citrine and use that with Amethyst to mitigate some of this on my end.
When I setup the bounty for what became drafts, I just wanted a way to ensure notes in progress when the app crashed weren't lost. I didn't envision it saving them as you type into relays as a DDoS attack.
I've considered posting another bounty to resolve this but with the risk of unintended consequences I'm avoiding that.
Hoping Citrine works 

 ya amethyst has a relay setting for private relays (where you could put citrine), but ironically this list does not get saved to relays afaik so whn i install a diff amethyst or etc it goes back to blank (default send draft to all relays).  i think most havent setup this setting so drafts are by far the highest volume of events on nostr (dethroned likes) 

 Vitor seemed very committed to drafts for other use cases. Best to use Amber to not allow drafts. Very happy to have Amber because I do not like drafts.  

 I attempted, but couldn't post afterward. Amber's interface isn't very honest, it seems. I can't tell if I confirmed the change or not.

 Yup. Toggled it. And the interface wouldn't change after hitting "confirm". Deleted it, and couldn't confirm. Then, in Amethyst, was not able to reply here. Restarted my phone, and I can post again.
