Typescript is very comfortable, that's why, the advantage is in maintenance, you can hire easily cheap ts programming, but C programming is expensive because C dev are scarce, so you have cheaper maintenance and easier replacement if you choose a more popular language.

i spent a few weeks working at a dev shop in Bosnia that was full of "ninjas" and i have so many sads at the lack of actual programming ability there was in there, i probably was in sum equal to the whole 30 staff or so at skill in writing algorithms
That problem may be that many people who know little think they know a lot and want to change everything.
Digital products will always have developers who know less and are more effective at serving as a teaching environment than a university. In my view, these are general problems in software development and can be solved by adjusting the software delivery process.
