My group of long-term women friends and I dealt with this issue. We’ve been friends since at latest early 20s. We are in our 40s now. 🙏 One of them dated the brother of another. They dated for two years and were happy. After the relationship ended there was an awkward standoff with those two. The other women and I finally mediated & we all are still close friends to this day. 🫂🫡 It can work.
