 You can always run your own relay with your own rules

 Sat will become more and more popular, and ordinary people will be able to obtain sat more and more easily. 

 How? Anyone can choose whatever relay they want. If I use a stamp relay, it doesn’t mean anyone else has to.

 I love this idea! Im pretty sure most people don't scroll global feed because spam is just data you don't want to see.  Having a layer of speech that means enough to the person to pay for it doesn't negate global or totally open speech from existing, it just allows for another layer of filtering for the signal if you want that. 

 On Damus you can scroll global by filtering using only a paid relay. I use nostr.wine to filter my global feed on Damus.
