I disagree. He’s not like Peterson who just tries to virtue signal Bitcoin support when it’s convenient. He did a 12 hour podcast series with Breedlove on the history and nature of money and seems to really get it.

I don’t think some of the stuff he says about “digital property” and “digital energy” he completely believes. I think he’s just aware that in his position, he can’t come out and advocate for the fall of the dollar and of governments because it puts a big target on his back and the back of his business and Bitcoin in general.

I do think he has a huge rug risk; although I doubt it would be a straight up visible rugging. It’s much more likely that microstrategy gets captured by the government and the coins become de-facto captured in my opinion.

Your two sats are as good as mine though.
 Breedlove? More like Bitcloutlove
 🤣
Bitclout. Can’t even log into it anymore. My own fault lol.
I can’t see him coming out dicing himself that he has a personal $300m brainwallet stash either.

Also his podcast with Saif regarding Rothbard. He’s legit. Not quite an anarcho-capitalist yet (see pod for where he jumps off the train) but he’s not far.

My vote is he’s legit, effecting change the best way he knows how.
That’s a reasonable take. And these are not times of reason but times of emotions, so thanks. Too many radicals get ignited by these comments and that confirms that they are indeed radical doomsday anarchists (lot’s of them living here at Nostr). That’s all-right. Bitcoin does not need Saylor nor needs any paranoid techo-anarchist. Both are just defending their position and investments in a permissionless space, so it’s all right. Both are defending their Bitcoin (the idea of it they invested in, and their sats). And that’s all right. Too much time spent discussing influencers. Interesting remarks by the reporter though.
