 By this logic everyone would abandon their kids.  And you know what, people do.  This is that mentality.  Only love and #socialism  can fix this.

 It depends what you classify as being parasitic. I would argue that parasites don't do anything good for you, don't serve a beneficial purpose for the host. Children do. They are the offspring and serve a really important purpose.
