Actually three. If severe enough, the attack can conceal how the economy was going to collapse anyway. With the false flag, they can wash their hands of it and blame hackers.

I do believe it's turning like this because too many stoped to be vigilant, we started to accomodate, to give up base and elementary pieces of freedom and privacy without noticing, blurred by shenanigans talks and MSM.. Nostr (and bitcoin) is a reminder that responsibility is the key. I don’t like the view on humans „people are dumb so we have to control them“ simply false. People aren’t dumb.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn’t answer directly on the issue you pointed in your note. I just wanted to talk about that the reasons why they want ID on every posting is the believe humans are not responsible enough, too dumb to act“ „right“ and so need to be controlled. While it’s a nice idea in the first place, to protect us, it’s horrible that someone could even control what information is actually allowed on the net. Maybe people wouldn’t have many reasons to be assholes when our system wasn’t that broken.

You could say that Nostr exists as a direct consequence of the privacy eroding pressures from our overlords. Humans are awesome, it is in our nature to overcome obstacles. More pressure will only ever result to more progress just with a little more hardship along the way. 💪🏼
