 @:hoshino_smug:  It was overall a damn good year for Flan and everything did line up into place for her jump, with 20 years since EoSD, 17.5, and Internet Survivor releasing just a month before the vote and quickly gaining in popularity. Still, the Vote is somewhat unpredictable when it comes to what catches on, especially when it comes to new games, characters, and returning characters (the minor exception going to the fact that series mainstays are always at the top and EoSD tends to hover up there in at least the top 50-60).
