Is Nostr mainly for developers and tech?
Because I don’t understand what a lot of the terms are. Such as what are relays? Do I need them? What happens if I delete etc…..

Relays: How notes (posts) get shared to other clients.
If you delete it's up to the relay to support that request. Your client (app) will hide it from you, but it possibly is still visible to other clients. Same thing with blocking.
And Nostr is for everybody! Asking these kinds of questions helps everyone and make it more understandable and accessible. Check this site (https://nostr.com/) out as a starter point.
What are relays? It's where you upload your post to. Basically a storage. If you have 10 relays configured, Your post is uploaded and available on these 10 relays.
Aside of storing your posts, It's also where you get / download posts from who you follow.
