Nostr's lack of feed algorithms allows us to engage with the content that we want, not the content that someone spoon fed to us. In the future, we'll have feed algorithms here too, but the difference will be that we'll be in control. The algorithms will be transparent and of user choice; or they will fail.
thumbs up 👍🏾
🎯
2024 will be the year of the Nostralgo 😂
I like no algo. Even with algos I will be algo free.
being your own algo is perhaps the best algo.
👏👏👏
People with shitty content shouldn’t blame #nostr. They should accept that their content didn’t survived in free market. There is no big daddy Elon here to push your content for engagement farming.
💯
Some of us want nothing to do with algorithms. I've seen them lead to decline, first on Facebook and then everywhere else. Chronological order or nothing. The coolest thing about Nostr is that you can disagree with me, and we'll both be happy with our user experience. nostr:note1hw48ezt48tlggwea7d3dspa2za4lwvy6w0eylyt5qmkpcr0ch9zsyzqx50
As long as I can tune the algorithmic sorting myself and also turn it on and off, let's go.

I was hoping this would show up.
The other day I was sharing with a friend how I once used twitter. I didn’t interact with it directly, but I used the app Nuzzle. That app simply aggregated the most shared and liked post by the folks that I followed and also, in another tab, showed what was most liked and shared by the folks who they followed (so friends of friends). It would usually give me 5-10 very high quality articles or threads to read in a week and that was perfect. I hope one day somebody will build this feature in #nostr as well. @jb55 @walker Any takers? By the way, Nuzzle was acquired and shut down by Twitter. I still “blame” @jack 😥
