Today there was a huge cycling event in my hometown, all roads were blocked and I could not move by car.
I knew nothing about it. Why? Because I used to get news on my city on legacy social media.
I’m not looking at #X or #instagram anymore, so I am loosing information about what’s happening in my city.
It’s difficult to keep updated at the local level, when you use #nostr only
How do you #NostrOnly people stay up to date with what happens around your place?

Yes, this could be a way.
However, it lacks the simplicity of getting the news while scrolling.

Use nitter rss feeds to follow accounts you are concerned about and a good rss feed reader like feeder.
