It's old, there's bugs in it, and quite honestly it's hurting the relay ecosystem centralizing around a single relay like this.  Relays are at the mercy of the clients, who have the benefits of user facing visibility and settings.  Ask your clients today for relay features (like gossip protocol NIP65 and browsing). 

 THANK YOU! I felt like I was going crazy over here, being so fixated on this. It’s so horrible, and 100% agree that UX is being hurt by this. I see bad patterns all the time.
