We need to harden deeper layers of our stack. Eg. Nostr must have IP privacy before we can rely on it in adversarial environments. And we’ll need to burn our existing doxxed npubs. Also, we need to have a IP private, pseusdonymous source code hosting platform.
have been exploring this as well recently. really keen to see what develops. don't know enough about github nip05 verification yet but suspect there maybe something there. ipfs is another system, that may harbour opportunities too. sooo much to learn .... if only I knew more 🙃
I dont think anyone will want to use ipfs in the real world. Its too complicated for normies. Imagine telling a boomer to go to this long retarded address to view his bank account
i hear you. defintely not a tech but can follow logic. trying to explore and absorb everything right now. with the speed of change, maybe ipfs UIs get developed that make it friendly for the masses. it seems, those smart devs are only just warming up 🙃
Many devs build things without focus, usability, and user experience. They lack a realistic vision. This is also nostr relays and clients so far
and therein lies the beauty of these notes - the sharing and harnessing of ideas will culminate in a great future 🙃
