It has dawned on me that, surely, so called “gender reveal” parties are actually not gender reveal parties at all. Because the parents won’t know, yet, what gender (if any) their kid feels itself to be? 

In fact, couldn’t it almost be said to be an early pre-birth attempt to *impose* a gender identity based merely on biological sex? 

Also aircraft towing banners, fireworks leading to forest fires, gratuitous and wretched displays of excess etc etc is all just fucking gross shite.
