Avatar: The Last Airbender is the hardest hitting storyline I've ever encountered.
That show taught me the meaning of selflessness, honor, shame, and, most importantly, forgiveness.
What about the importance of restraint?

I've not had the courage to try the Netflix remake... any good?
I started watching it, and I like it so far. My physical therapist is rewatching it already 😂. I think it's worth a watch.
It’s not bad, they botched some of the characters but that was to be expected.
The acting is not going to win any awards since I believe they selected for physical resemblance over experienced actors. That said, they did a good job converting a cartoon to live action that stays true to the message of the original.
I’ll be honest, the acting was pretty bad. But visually pretty good and it followed the animated series pretty well. Definitely enjoyed it. Saca’s nose is pretty distracting though.
Hearing second hand: Original creators left the project - those that did work on it seemed to want to do the source material justice, but it didnt work out. Lots of exposition, breaking the "show dont tell" rule. Not bad, but hollow
Definitely not the best, but the siege of the north is badass
We started watching the original again after we got through the Netflix live action.
Uncle Iroh is one of my heroes.
I’ve watched that show more than any other show and still love it!
Sokka: "My first girlfriend turned into the moon."
Zuko: "That's rough, buddy."

Love the original series. All of my Great Danes have been recall trained with “Yip yip!”
