If you ask people "who is the most famous basketball player of all times?" what will they say? 1. Lebron James 2. Michael Jordan 3. _________
Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Dennis Rodman
Kobe
Do you really think some random person who knows nothing about basketball will know the name "Kobe Bryant" more than "Michael Jordan" or are you just answering who is your favorite player?
Kobe, and your order is wrong. @noBody𓅦🧱 fixed it for you⚡️🤙🏻
My order? These are just the options.
MJ is the only option for a list that starts with 1. 🔥🫡
This right here. It’s an ordered list, he must be top
Jordan. I traveled to China 6 years ago. When I told people there I was from Chicago, they all knew who MJ was. Lebron or any BB players-not so much.
Thank you. I think this solves it.
but yes it is probably Michael Jordan
Boomers: Jordan Gen Z: Lebron
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

I struggled for some time before finding that you had already come up with the correct answer here.
Kobe
Boo
You a ghost or something 😂
Kobe is the most famous... in here. https://media1.tenor.com/m/hTZDdM-1gBIAAAAC/hand-on-my-heart-harold-cooper.gif

Jordan. Man, not trying to be a dick. Different sport at a different time. It’s like comparing bitcoin to was introduced before bitcoin
Lived in Los Angeles. Jordan is the King have to watch the tape
Jordan is overrated. He played in an expansion era. The league was watered down with a lot of new teams and players that made the competition very weak. Kobe and Lebron are far more talented. Lebron can play every position at a high level and leads the league in far more statistical categories than Jordan. And Lebron is still dominating the nba at an age where Jordan was already retired.

Don’t be that old guy at the barbershop 😂 https://youtube.com/shorts/NjBKWvKwm6A
I used to watch all the games, as a kid, with my dad. For me, Jordan’s the goat 🤷🏾♂️
Do you think Jordan complained to refs and flopped less than LeBitch?
He 100% did and he flopped too. What does that have to do with who is more skilled though?
Exactly. I don’t see the link with complaining
@Fabian it seems that when I reply to the thread, the new note removes the tags of the others in the thread and it just keeps the person replied to. On Nostur 1.16.0 (303) testflight
Took pics from Damus (I didn’t know how to show the info after the fact in Nostur). The notes were created in Nostur https://i.nostr.build/VHxCKEcdq1wItStM.jpg https://i.nostr.build/dg5NUR4YVszZyy71.jpg
yes this fixed in next update, will be out soon
Thank you Fabian!
@Fabian Would it be possible, in a future update, to make all pictures use full width of the post’s space? https://i.nostr.build/sIw8Fr9u5IzPeWxg.jpg
Same for links to songs, if possible. 1st pic is how they look in Nostur, and the second one in Damus. Thank you for your help! https://i.nostr.build/ejjLtKMAvuR8rNkb.jpg https://i.nostr.build/i7SCyxMCrSX0xff7.jpg

That doesn’t really change wether he was a great player or not though
I was mostly shitpoasting/stirring the pot. Pls proceed with the overplayed skill comparison hehe
That’s true but I always find myself arguing with old heads about this. I called it the back in my day syndrome 😂
It’s like trying to compare the best hockey player from 20 years ago to the best today. Or the best rapper from the 90s to the best rapper from the 2010s 😂
And they say similar things. Rappers today are soft. The rap game isn’t the same now. Everything was always better back in their day. They worked harder. Man there was one old head I was talking to that swore he could lock down Lebron when he was younger. I’m like YOU can lock down the greatest basketball player on earth? He said yeah he’d hold him to 0 points. Come on man lmao how are you not in the nba if you were that good lmao gtfo
Did you watch all of Lebron during his career?
No I did not. I lost interest as I got older. That’s why I said for me, he’s the goat. Then again comparing players from 2 different eras is not that easy to do. All the teams are different.
Yeah they’re all different and the rules were different too. The 3 point line was shorter during Jordan’s era for example. The competition was a lot worse back then too. Players were not as athletic or skilled. It was also an expansion era. They added a bunch of new teams and new players that weren’t pro level. Jordan’s peers and the media admitted this openly. @Kendy https://youtu.be/p57WjbKSoJ0
Fair enough. Not really my sport.
I lived in Los Angeles.
Nah. I honestly forget to get on line some days. 😂😂😂
There can only be one https://media4.giphy.com/media/l4Ki2obCyAQS5WhFe/giphy.gif
In #Africa, if I go with the shirts people wear, certainly Lebron James (I believe it is a proxy of famous status). Most of the population are young and didn't even watch Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson or Larry Bird play.
Stephen Curry
Dr J (Julius Erving) Larry Bird ... I'm showing my age
Depends on who’s answering. If it’s basic or non nba fans lebron or Kobe. If it’s basketball die hards, it’s MJ. If it’s NBA die hards it’s either lebron, Kobe or MJ depending on their age
Scottie Pippen. really popular with the ladies.
wow nostr is so stupid obviously KOBE
Kobe
