The pot is a ring filled with the broth of your choosing, then you fill the broth with rice noodles, veggies and meat and let it cook. Ours has a grill in the middle if you want grilled meat instead of boiled.

Then pull out what you want and combine it in a soup spoon and put on sauce and enjoy.
