There's some basic graph optimizations that could really help here such as displaying the number of your follows that also follow a given npub. 1 degree should be plenty for a growing graph like nostr follows.

 Yeah, that’s kind of weird 

 We already sort by that, thats what the purple person icon is. we just need to expand the search results so that the real profile is returned. 

 Now if there are like 1000 fake profiles it gets more annoying, we will have to change our search index to incorporate this info somehow
