They had lost the battle to prevent export of strong cryptography.
Yes, they have completely failed technically. I hope that more people use reliable end -to -segment encrypted communication software, and the Chinese have not used this software. I am annoyed by this. I hope they also use SIGNAL, TOR, PGP, etc.
