it's hard to know what would happen. I think you have to start looking in terms of the forces at play to make a guess. The overaching force is to downplay all non-white crime. But you also have the force of large companies not wanting to be stuck with hundreds of millions of dollars of non-performing assets. ( since most of them are in long term leases for the spaces, which they've built out with a ton of computerized stuff ) Third you have americans that are sick of crime ( e.g the Trump saying shoot looters in CA an get a cheer) 

 I wonder what kind of company like IKEA wanted to open a store in SF while Target has decided "fuck it" and closing stores over there.
