Twitter got better under Elon IMHO. But it has been superseded by a better more decentralised technology. Elon is doing a good job of standing up for free speech, but the pressure will be too great in the end. Am off twitter and never going back.
I am very interested in how we can use ML as a service so that users can tweak their own Nostr clients with full granularity—not the deceptive black box of illusory control we have today with filtered words and ‘hide these’ options. If I were wealthy, I would invest in Nostr apps focused on algorithmic sovereignty.
back in the day, any normie on twitter that had a good, nuanced view, would get good engagement. this feature allowed me to know great inteligent people (even way outside bitcoin and finance circles). this then led me a good few years later into bitcoin, when i saw those distinct carachters talking about it. this vibe got completely distroyed, to the point that if you now give a nuanced take, you are pretty much guaranteed 0 engagement 😅
