Is it just me or are folks noticing more public Wi-Fi access points at stores and such have started blocking VPN connections?
probably requ. or risk depending on location
I have noticed that too, also more websites blocking vpns (or not working well with them)
For me personally not having been in this country a while, it seems like a lot of public hotspots have seemingly disappeared.
Yup... a crypto exchange whose homepage I had just explored kicked me out in seconds this morning.

Same thing I noticed at hotels.
Yes, and also more websites blocking them in weird non-explicit ways
 Everywhere has started blocking VPNs.
I do my best to stay off of public wifi😂😂
Not just you. I don’t even bother connecting to public WiFi. It’s all dog shit & if they can’t let users connect anonymously, I’m not connecting at all. ✌🏼
It's not just you. It just tells me where to not spend my money.

If they don't value my choice/freedom they are not worthy of my money. The problem will sort itself.
Noticed this recently too, also blocking encrypted messenger apps like signal etc
