 Watching the Apple keynote. What is a "user at risk of speech loss"?
 @fce803cc I don't know the context, but perhaps someone suffering with throat cancer?
 @fce803cc What happens when the Zoom caller can't figure out the "mute" button! LOL 🤠 ☕
 @fce803cc somebody about to undergo larynx surgery, or affected by a chronic degenerative disease to any part of the breathing / speech apparatus, brain included (SLA/Lou Gehrig disease for example).
 @fce803cc I know they've mentioned ALS specifically in the past
 @fce803cc
That'll be Mitch McConnell
 @fce803cc The entire apple watch pitch was based on it "saving" people's lives:

-heart attack
-afib
-low heart rate
-lost hiking
-stuck on a mountain
-EV runs out of battery on a texas
 highway

How could you even consider NOT having one!?? It will SAVE YOUR LIFE MAN!

Might as well add that it can speak on your behalf.
 @fce803cc climate chaos…so much smoke/smog/smug causing users to loose their voice.
 @fce803cc

See pic in attachment and see https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2023/05/apple-previews-live-speech-personal-voice-and-more-new-accessibility-features/ .

Shortly speaking: It’s not about Apple Watch but about iPhones and feature called “Personal Voice” which is described by Apple so: “those at risk of losing their ability to speak can use Personal Voice to create a synthesized voice that sounds like them for connecting with family and friends”.

Bottom line is that latest iPhones and Apple Watches have fat AI chips that can do AI stuff offline.
