@ecf3b77a Maybe to unlock features that are virtually locked to newer models? Personally I'd do it just to be able to increase the DPI a bit. I find the UI to be slightly too large on my iPhone X, even at the lowest font size. Oh also object lift, that feature is only available on iPhone Xs and newer. I don't have the option to put subjects in front of the clock on my iPhone X's iOS 16 lock screen.
