Not likely in or near San Mateo. He said more than once he is near Oakland and Berkeley. Plus he has a view of the mud flats.

A quick search for John C Dvorak House brings up an address in Albany CA - which is near the bay & just north of Berkeley.

 @e7cebe76 San Mateo is as I said tho'... awersome but not enough space for everyone.  The little tendrils of land that go into the hills with small neighorhoods on 1/2 -1 acre lots stand on some of God's best work!
