This is the IP address for a DNS resolver: 1.1.1.1

You can connect to the nostr relays that published this note, use this IP address to connect with DNS resolver. Associating npubs with IP addresses isn't a big deal either.

However, nostr works best when its kept simple. Adding more complexity and trying to do everything ends up in a system that cannot do basic things properly.

I had several options for joinstr and researched different protocols, distributed networks etc. however nostr was the easiest to work with because of its simplicity.
Of course DNS is easier: it's run by an authority. Why should nostr lean on that when it's already capable of publishing verifiable data?

I've read this note three times now and I still don't understand what it means.
