Oddbean new post about login | logout that's the ordinal concept of indexing - so its permanently referenced to the main bitcoin block ie inscribed. I remember we spoke about the token previously. Both this Bitcoin NFT and the token worries me as it affects the Bitcoin ethos.
I need to see an ordinal url to see/understand. Like how does it reference it? (Example bitcoin.com/photo. png?) The worse/best case scenario, miners do a chainsplit. Issue is, from my understanding it takes a lot of hash power to process these ordinal which creates incentives for miners to mine for the high fees. 🤷♂️
