Why would you go with KDE Plasma on Linux Mint, if they don't have an official spin (and therefore no official support in their forums)?
I've been using Linux for 14 years already, so I would probably breeze through those instructions and would be self supporting.
But I wouldn't recommend installing a different desktop environment to new users, especially one that uses a completely different graphical toolkit (Gtk vs Qt).

Gen-x just decided to build an hardware switch to keep having win7 and linux on the same PC. Ok ok.. will buy another couple of SSD so I will be able to boot with win XP too
