I figured it out. Duh gawrsh, you know errrything cuteh 😍. I can self-host a community like doglover.me and people can sign up or login with Nostr or Mastodon  

 The mastodon compatibility with ditto is to support fediverse apps only though  

 How does it work?? Can I login with my mastodon.social credentials? 

 No, it's simply there to allow you to use existing fediverse apps with your nostr account
