Maybe I missed it, I've been following the trial with Robert Gouveia, but what IS the felony? Did they finally come up with something? Or just leave it unspecified?
I guess a lot of us assumed the United States of America, which gave the world democracy, had a higher standard than other nations. Evidently not. We’re all learning real time from once upstanding Republicans that evidence doesn’t matter and we only have to accept the elections and jury decisions we like. Oh well, it was a good 250 years of civil society under a shared rule of law.
Other democracies prosecuted leaders for actual crimes. The details of this verdict are an inditement of the compromised judiciary, the corrupt uniparty, and those who support it. Especially the blue haired Berkeley woke cultists whose time had passed.
The Jury were all residents of Manhattan and none had blue hair. And in every place where a national leader has been convicted of crimes they’ve claimed it was due to a corrupt judiciary.
