On battery usage per app basis it looked fine:

So I went to check on use time tab...

Suddenly Amethyst is close to the bottom, overtaken by shitloads of processes that I either don't use and I'm not aware that they even being run... Live wallpaper selector? Why would I choose to run it? Or ubiquitous manager service? WTF is that? 
It makes me wanna finally take the plunge and degoogle myself...

 NewPipe. You should use NewPipe.

 I used to use newpipe, but found Google was aggressively trying to break it to the point it was unusable.
I personally use Opera with tracking and ads blocked and the only thing I miss is screen off play.
