Absolutely without question. The worst thing for bitcoin is that it continues to be more and more a partisan issue. nostr:note1umdxxs2gyrfypyzkyfv2m9zgk87jlgmn9uua8xvf7t7zgf8e0mzsj46rz2
 💯
That's why I keep repeating that my vote for 2024 and beyond is for Bitcoin. The Bitcoin system as a whole. I'm not just talking about Bitcoin as a financial investment, as some financial giants would like to sell you, but about the Bitcoin system as an alternative to the current system.
Bitcoin is absolutely pro-free-market/anti-socialism. It's inherently political and you can't do nothing about it. Better just accept the truth.
Suggesting that Liberals (not liberals) have nothing to like about Bitcoin is short-sighted and lacks creativity. There have been literal books written on this topic.
A literal liberal, that is someone who wants free markets amd private property as derived from the non-aggression principle and the absolute right to oneself, yes, obviously.

Socialist progressives, who believe the State is a morally legitimate economic and social actor with the role to "redistribute" private property and "provide public services", not so much.

If they want to fool themselves either believing they are leftists while supporting an inherently anti-State technology, or by believing they can turn Bitcoin into a pro-State technology, that entirely a "they" problem, not a Bitcoin problem or a liberalism problem.
Exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for writing it for me!
If you think the American Red Team are pro-freedom and the American Blue Team are anti-freedom you may want to get checked for brain worms. Neither is even remotely close to that consistent and both are pro- or anti-freedom on various specific issues. Bitcoin can absolutely speak to both of the American partisan teams depending on which features and groups of people you focus on.
I think the one who needs severe brain deworming must be you, because they worms are making you see and read stuff that I didn't made the slightest mention of, such as US partisan politics. I recommend a generous splash of bleach with your regular meals.
 Go reread the op :)
Go read what I said, and what I replied to.
You should settle this over a beer. 🍻
Agree from what I understand of American politics. Also the world is not American politics. In other parts of the world different specturms exist and bitcoin appeals to those generally looking for freedom from financial oppression.
