 Pineapples go well with almost anything, including pizza. They're particularly good in any dish that includes pork. 

 The pineapple pork pizza is food of the gods. However, most people lack balls to even try it 

 There's something about the acid and sugar and flavor in pineapple that works so well with fat, particularly animal fat. It's great in roasts, soup, bbq, etc.
