October 4, 2023 - Celtic fans unfurl an enormous antifascist banner while singing a variation of Bella Ciao at the start of the game against SS Lazio in Glasgow.

And to think in the US we let the phrase "antifa" ride a current of ambiguity and menace.

With the literal "fa" right in our faces.

Important to note that many (but of course not all) Lazio fans, in particular the Lazio Ultras (both traveling and at home) have displayed pro-facist salutes, singage, and chants during similar matches.
Kudos to the citizens of Glasgow, Celtic fans, and the general public to resist and protest against these facist demonstrations!

@134318c2 I've also noticed that right-wing media pronounces it "ann-TEE-fah" instead of "ANN-tee-fah", which seems designed to obscure the word's intended meaning.

North Americans are as gluttonous for right wing propaganda as the Chinese are for CCP propaganda. Apparently got shorted on the critical thought brain cells.
