If you think you’re the cleverest guy in the room, you may well be, but then you have to ask yourself:
What kind of intelligence and at what discipline(s)?
If you don't ask yourself those questions, then you're probably not the cleverest guy in the room.
What if you're alone but still don't ask, Grasshopper?

I doubt that. This are some smart people out there. . especially when it comes to specialized subjects. Sometimes I wish I could absorb their knowledge through close proximity osmosis.
If you ever find yourself to the the cleverest guy in the room, the cleverest thing to do would be to find a room with more interesting people in it.
