@870381fd Have you ever tried carrying a tablet everywhere? (More to the point, old folks tend to have back and shoulder joint trouble which makes carrying heavy items for long periods painful. Lighter is better.) There's a reason Apple went to exotic materials to lighten the iPhone 15 Pro: 240g (the iPhone 14 Pro Max) was as much as the market would tolerate, and shaving just 20 grams off it was a sales point.
@0c1a9324 I mean, I'm a big guy with big pockets and I have just walked around with a 7" tablet in my front pocket before, but I take your point. Not like a folding phone would weigh less though, and lots of people have bags or purses or might leave their phone in their car or something, that's how I was thinking about it.
@870381fd What is a "car"? Is it some sort of backpack? /s (I see the real issue as volume/bulk, rather than weight, as long as weight is under roughly 300 grams.)
