NBC "News" had a chance to reboot "Meet the Press" in a way that demonstrated journalistic integrity. If failed, of course, with its travesty of a Trump interview. Big Journalism relentlessly demonstrates its contempt for the craft in which it supposedly engages. https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/067/770/488/090/520/original/70697c7ecb7cbbe4.png
@f8d9bc1c Journalistic integrity will always play second fiddle to money as long as news organizations are run as a for profit business. Trump is a draw, he brings in the views. No matter how good or bad they interview him, as a business, they won by airing it either way. In a capitalist system, there needs to be a price set for morals, ethics and integrity. This is on us, the consumers, by boycotting outlets/products that don't value these things.
