 Closest thing to a comic book version of Batman. Reminds a lot of Batman: Year One.

 The Nolan Trilogy is still goated but the new one stands on it’s own merits.  Not sure any Batman movie can or will ever top The Dark Knight?

 I preferred Batman Begins over The Dark Knight, but the whole trilogy was amazing.

I think one thing the new Batman movie did, is nail the feel of Gotham. No other movie, in my opinion, came close to having Gotham city feel like a character.

 Without Batman Begins setting the stage The Dark Knight couldn’t have been as good as it is. BB has better storytelling of Batmans origin and hero’s journey. TDK is Batman at his peak form, with less story telling and more of a straight action flick.  Heath as joker took it to another level - such a great character.🦇🦇🃏🃏
