There’s a coffee shop in DC that has cats for adoption called CRUMBS & WHISKERS

 i once drove behind a shady looking Chinese buffet in Taos, New Mexico to turn around and saw a ton of cats in fruit crates behind the buffet.

but as i got closer. i could see the crates were open, and the cats were using them for shade. they hung around because the owners would feed them.
