for me it's just a filler until i can specialise in masters on what i actually like

wait, did you go to uni or are you fully auto-didactic in the design field? 

 I went but honestly can’t say it helped in any way. Felt like a waste of time and money.

with how the job search is over here, it's still really heavily reliant on degrees to even get a foot in the door

should be meritocracy at the end, the one with the highest skill gets the job, not the one with a stamped piece of paper 

 it just feels so dry man

but the university is free here
and gives a massive advantage in job search 

 it's more fun if you break the rules
