I vote, but vote for the candidate most likely to reduce taxation, regulation, and murder (through any means including abortion, unnecessary wars, euthanasia, etc.). I know that none will eliminate these completely, but figure every move in the right direction is better than nothing.
Sometimes, when the winner is obvious and my vote doesn't matter, I vote for a 3rd party candidate just to try to get their vote total high enough that people stop saying, "I don't like the major party guy, but I don't want to waste my vote."
I get it.
But... This is where voting got us. It's not a great place. I will withdraw from the system and build my own.
I still vote, but I don't put my time into politics. I try to put my time into changing hearts and minds. As long as the people are corrupt and/or brain washed, voting won't make much difference.
I also have been trying to put lots of time into sharing the Gospel because I think time is very short. Once the rapture happens, voting won't work, if it is even allowed.
That's a much better thing to put your time into.
Though, lately, I am wondering about the rapture. I had no idea there were so many arguments about when it's supposed to happen. 😅
In Chile always the only way to vote is to chose the "less bad" candidate.
But every time they are getting worse and worse. Their only solution is always "more govt".
The only difference is that the left wants more State with "gender perspective" and the right wants more State with "corporativist lobbies"
