Step 2: Follow thousands of people, get follow backs
Step 3: Change profile to spammer and start spamming, get everyone added to blacklist 

 the WoT is a little bit like kindergarten ... easy to break by bullys - we'll need to find other methods of trust 

 Maybe follow based WoT is a really bad idea? 🤷🏻‍♂️ 

 I don't see this as self-censorship. If you value spam and others don't they are not your WoT. Your follows are your business. If someone unfollows you, it does nothing to your speech other than to signal you are not saying/doing things they like. If you speak only with the goal of pleasing everyone you are doomed to fail.  

 I don't know that I'd automate it, but it's nice to know who's following spammers. 

On another note, how the hell can anyone deal with the crap s/n ratio following 2k npubs? Might as well just look at the global feed. 

 I’ve said it from the first time I heard about it, web of trust is fucking stupid. 

Instead of solving discoverability, the devs are trying to create walled gardens. 

Nostr needs new developers.
